Wayne Township residents are invited to join us on Saturday, August 10, 2024, for our annual Public Safety Day Celebration!

Held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Sam’s Club parking lot at 5805 Rockville Road, the event is sponsored by the Wayne Township Fire Department, the Wayne Township Trustee's Office, Sam’s Club, Omni, Speedway Moose Lodge, and Gleaner's. The event features more than 50 vendor and resource booths, games, and activities for children, music, bounce houses, the Ben Davis Lion’s Club classic car show, safety demonstrations as well as free lunches and snacks for attendees.

 

This year's event will also include a food giveaway from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Sponsored by Miller Pipeline, the township is working with Gleaners to provide free food to Wayne Township families on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event is free and all Wayne Township residents are invited to attend for a day of fun, learning, and community building. ​
